Linking your Blogger blog to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) can be done in two ways: manually editing your blog's HTML or using the easy built-in option that uses your Measurement ID. To use either method, you must first establish a property in Google Analytics 4 and locate your Measurement ID.



Step-1 First, locate your GA4 Measurement ID. 

  1. Navigate to Google Analytics and sign in with your Google account.
  2.  In the bottom-left corner, click the Admin gear icon.
  3.  In the Property column, select your GA4 property.  If you haven't created one, click Create Property and follow the prompts.
  4.  Click Data Streams, then click on your blog's web stream.
  5.  Locate the Measurement ID, which begins with, and copy it.

Method 1: Use the built-in Blogger setting
 This is the simplest way to connect your blog and is recommended for most users.
  1.  Log in to the dashboard for Blogger. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
  2.  Scroll down to the "Basic" section and locate Google Analytics Measurement ID.
  3.  Paste your copied G- Measurement ID into the text box and click Save.
Method 2: Manually edit your Blogger theme
If you have a more complex setup or need to use additional tracking features, you can add the Google tag directly to your theme's HTML. This method also works for older "Classic" Blogger templates.

  1. Back in Google Analytics, navigate to your data stream and click View tag instructions under the "Google tag" section.
  2. Choose the Install manually option and copy the entire code block.
  3. In your Blogger dashboard, navigate to Theme.
  4. Click the down arrow next to "Customize" and select Edit HTML.
  5. Locate the <head> tag in the code editor.
  6. Paste the Google tag code snippet directly after the <head> tag.
  7. Click the floppy disk icon or the Save button to save your changes.
Verify the connection. 

Data will not appear immediately.  It may take up to 24 hours for Google Analytics to begin collecting and reporting data from your Blogger site. 
To test if your connection is working:
  1.  Go to the Reports section in your Google Analytics property.
  2.  Click the Realtime report to see if you can track your own visit to your blog.
